Shhh...I may be in love with my mailman! Free and fun things in the mail!

Who doesn't love a box in the mail that they weren't expecting? The exhilaration of opening it up and seeing what goodies lay inside. Today my doorbell rang. Very unusual as my mailman, UPS and FedEx guy deliver here so often they just drop and run. So, I knew this was either good or bad. I signed his little pad and took my package with hope that something fun had come.

I have a slight recollection of applying to the Nielson National Consumer Panel. I was approved! In the box I found a scanner, a charging station and a router cable with a novel of instructions and wondered, "What did I get myself into?"

It only took a few minutes to hook it all up and run a test scan session. Basically, for as long as I'd like I will be scanning EVERYTHING I purchase, entering where I bought it, who was with me and how much it cost and then transmit this data. They want to know if it was on sale, did I use a coupon, was the coupon doubled? For doing this I will be earning points that can be exchanged for gift cards or items from their catalog. I have my eye on a new IPad. I think it's interesting the lengths that companies go to, to see what peopling are buying and why. I guess I want to be a guinea pig,subconsciously.

I will see if this is worth my time; give it a few months. I am sure my kids will love being my helpers in this. It is very easy to do.

I am looking at it as FREE MONEY and I LOVE free anything.

I will keep you posted on how this progresses and if I have a love hate or just hate relationship.

How I have earned over $230 just for shopping online! (and you can, too!)

I love to shop online! I love free shipping and coupons and discount codes galore. But, one of my favorite things is getting cash back for shopping online. It is like a surprise in my mailbox (or Paypal account) that I was not expecting.


Lets talk about Ebates. I have been using Ebates for a few years now and go through them every time I shop online. If I get a great coupon in the mail or through my email I go to the actual stores website and shop like normal. After my cart is full I open a new window and go Ebates and see what percentage cash back they are offering. I then click on the stores website through Ebates. A new window will pop up for that store and in the cart are the items that I have already selected. I check out like normal and will see a credit for my cash back with in a few days. Super easy money!

How does everyone get those FREE boxes of goodies coming to their door?

Week One:

I know I am always on the lookout for a good free sample. Even better if I love and can share the happiness with others. I see so many YouTubers and bloggers out there, that get all the free goodies and wonder to myself...how do I do that, too?

Well, ladies and gents, I am on a mission to find out and want you to come with me. We WILL get those samples!

To start off this week I have been doing some research. How? Watching YouTube videos of course. As soon as I find a few favorites, I will post them here for you to enjoy, too. Also, lots of Googling and Yahooing. I am compiling a list of things, for myself, to check out and I am signing up for more things than I can't count. I know that my inbox is going to be flooded with more spam than I will know what to do with! I hope in all that mess and chaos, that I  will find some real deals and real samples and how to keep them coming. I will weed my way through the gunk and spam, to share with you my lovely readers, how to really get the goods.

My goal is for me, and you, to be able to try cool stuff out!
